PRESS RELEASE
During the weekend of August 1st and 2nd, the first virtual production of the Jus' Blues Music Awards & Conference was held. Some of you may recall that this is the time of year when Jus' Blues would have celebrated it's 20th Anniversary & Conference at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, MS. However, as many events have been postponed and cancelled due to the current pandemic of COVID 19, the theme was "Keep the Music Playing".
The weekend kicked-off with our signature Blues-Got-a-Soul (BGAS) Virtual Music Workshop covering many pertinent topics on how artists can still survive during these unprecedented times. The workshop discussion based on "Sustaining Your Career During a Global Shutdown," was quite informational and ironically fitting during this time. The 2020 Jus’ Blues Music Awards Virtual Show "Keep the Music Playing" was a retrospective of great performances from some of the fantastic artists that have graced our stage. We shared performances of Blues & Soul legends like; Bobby Rush, Syl Johnson, Willie Clayton, Mille Jackson, Keisha Jackson, Ms. Jody, Mr. Sipp, Chick Rodgers, Latimore, Vasti Jackson, Theodis Ealey, Toni Green and many other surprises captured on the Jus’ Blues Music Awards stage throughout the years.

Both events were broadcast “LIVE” on JusBlues TV, YouTube and Facebook with the BGAS Virtual Music Workshop being available online via YouTube. We shall soon announce a re-airing of the 2020 Jus’ Blues Music Awards Virtual Show. So, stay close to your email and our website at www.jusblues.org for more information regarding the release date. We had so much to share from the past 20 years of events and couldn't possibly get it all in this particular retrospective. However, we will be producing more virtual workshops dispersing great information and sharing more classic Jus’ Blues Music Awards performances in the very near future.
