As Executive Director of Jus’ Blues and producer of twenty Jus’ Blues Music Awards Shows, Charles has grown the organization to thousands of supporters He also conceived and developed their lead program, Blues-Got-A-Soul. This program is geared toward influencing and educating students about the history of the Blues - America's purely original music art form. Charles has worked in the music industry for over four decades in Artist Management, Artist Development, as a Record Producer, Record Company Owner, Event Organizer, Promoter, Studio Manager, Music Publisher, and Songwriter. Charles uses his unique and compelling voice for social change through the arts, conferences and symposiums. Hobbies, love playing golf and chess.

Dr. Johnny D. JonesDr. Johnny D. Jones was born and raised in Mississippi. Dr. Jones enjoys teaching, research, learning, golf, fishing, cooking and educating youth. He has worked with youth organizations, school districts, colleges and universities and non-profit organizations to enhance education endeavors for youth. He is passionate about educating students of color and helping them to matriculate through higher education to obtain a degree. Johnny currently is serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the DELTA Project (Developing Empowerment Linkages Through Academics) and Assistant Vice President/Dean and Director of Delta Research and Cultural Institute (DRCI) at Mississippi Valley State University.

Velma LandersVelma Landers has had a long and successful career managing and advocating for Subsidized, Affordable and Public Housing in San Francisco. Under her leadership the housing sites she managed became safer, cleaner and more wholesome environment for residents. During her career, having been awarded numerous HUD Grants, allowed her to develop Resident Service Programs that provide services, resources, opportunities and partnerships that assist and enhance the quality of life for residents. Velma opened one of the first on site Computer Learning Centers with emphasis on resident needs in the areas of education, job skills, business training, economics, health and social events. Because of the entrepreneur spirit within her, in 1996 and a lack of Blues and Jazz venues lead Velma to open “Velma’s” a club/showroom and restaurant where live music and entertainment of local, national and international Blues and Jazz artist could be experienced..

Raynette MitchellRaynette Mitchell studied Business Management at Southern Business College in Orlando Florida, and has received her Degree in Business Management. Raynette has over 30 years of healthcare leadership and exceptional customer service experience. Raynette served on the Board of Directors at Medix Medical Institute while managing a private Internal Medicine practice in Smyrna Ga from 1992 – 1994. Raynette joined Emory Healthcare in 1994 - current where she lead the administrative support staff for dual board certified physicians in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and is currently working as Clinic Operations Manager for the Department of Cardiology Heart & Vascular Center in Atlanta Ga. Raynette is responsible for 18 direct reports who provide administrative support to over 20 professors and physicians.

Craten Armmer, Sr.Craten Armmer, Sr. entered Knoxville College, an HBCU in Knoxville, TN for 2 years Armmer continued his pursuit of a college degree and enrolled at the University of Memphis (formerly Memphis State University), majoring in Communication with a concentration in Radio, Television and Film production. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the U of M in 1981. Mr. Armmer, a 2-time Mid-South Regional Emmy Award recipient, In 2009 Armmer began his employment with Memphis City Schools and became Shelby County Schools, as Telecommunications Center General Manager where he was responsible for operation of WQOX/88.5FM, he was also in charge of the Electronic Media Broadcasting Program that taught basic radio and TV broadcasting techniques to high school students at various feeder schools throughout the District and advanced radio and TV techniques at the Telecommunications Center.
